Lavender Season in The Netherlands

Dried lavender is expensive and the reason is it is labor intensive to harvest, dry and process.

This last week back in The Netherlands has been a nice recovery from all the drama and trauma of the last months.

I slip out of bed as I watch the sun peek up over the ridge of the lake and the light starts to flood the lake with early morning light.
