We started off our day from our lodging in Daviot. Making our way through downtown Inverness to our Cruise boat start point at Dochgarroch Lock on the River Ness.
While planning for this vacation I had hoped to find a way to kayak or fly fish. Once the kayak idea evaporated due to scheduling and logistics I started looking into fly fishing. How cool would it be to say I fly fished in Scotland!
We started out on our second day of our Scottish Highland vacation with a down pour of rain. We had planned for rain, and coming from The Netherlands where it is rainy a majority of time we never alter our plans for rain. We just dress for it and go on!
