The first was a 12 km RT paddle to Kalenburg that explores the marsh lands of the National Park and the marsh forest of the National Park.
The following is a short slideshow of some of the photos from this last weekend.
For us this was our first time at the festival and we didn’t know what to expect. The festival was started in 2003 by a group of canoe friends who just wanted to get together and share their canoe experiences one weekend in September.

We are now at the end of our vacation and sadly at the end of the Dutch Open Canoe Festival 2018.
We made new friends, saw old friends, learned new things and learned a bit about how “Cedar” was built. Plus we paddled a good about of kilometers for us.
