With the arrival of what seems to be an early Spring here in The Netherlands, I have been outside with the camera trying to improve my skills. I captured some of these on my walk to the local pond. These birds are all acting like Spring is here to stay.
We normally see swans in pairs as they are placed in those largely romantic settings around castles.
This was a dry summer and our adventures are now well documented. The RV trailer is now safely back in storage. The canoe and kayaks are waiting for the next nice day to come out of the back garden and head out on an adventure.
Today we hiked the bird area close to the camping. This area has an observation deck where you can look at the birds that land to feed. There is a trail through the woods that skirts the birding area this 3km loop was a wonderful hike.
Enough! I say lets protest! If my message isn’t clear enough I am going over the boarder to Canada before it gets worst. I may have to paddle all the way back to the Netherlands! My family has two well trained project managers who can’t even get me a truck with a hitch on it due to current breakdown. I am modifying my Dutch bike and gearing it up so that I can tow my light trailer in case Don- deal is BAD!
With all the snow and cold here in Minnesota I am glued to the continued drama taking place in the Netherlands.
This week was the start of the Spring bird nesting webcams here in the Netherlands.
