Here is to Wednesday!
Biking today in the sun.
Saw a gal with devil horns on.
Nope…not stopping to ask why.
So bizarre that is why
I continued on to enjoy the sun
Thrifting store here I come.
Oh, the finds I found
No…that will not fit on my bike.

Winter weather take a hike!
On to bigger better ways and days.

Great post! I really enjoyed reading about your outdoor adventure and thrifting finds. Your descriptive writing style made me feel like I was right there with you. Have you found anything unique or unusual that you were able to fit on your bike during your thrifting excursions?

OMG! I fit more in my bike bags than maybe I should. Mostly have a list of items i am looking for either for myself or to donate to the Ukraine so it focuses my searches. But, I have been known to bring home tree slices…Hubby finally told me “No more!”🤣😂

Nice mid-week poem. And I think you could have fit the washer on your bike.

I sure thought about it… maybe something i should talk to a therapist about.😂

If you go back for it, we all need to see photos of it carefully balanced on your bike.

Oh, gosh, what an eclectic and fun post. I love thrifting. And I’m a bit envious of the planting as I look out my window to banks of snow and more on its way this afternoon.

Thanks, on this post. I explored something new in writing. I love thrifting maybe too much. But, i really believe if we need something we should look for used before buying new.

That’s an old-fashioned washing machine isn’t it?

Yes, it really was. Although it did have an electric motor so pretty post WWII.

Have you told us about the colorful spiral at the top of your post? If so, I missed it!

No, I didn’t (was more just to add something to place set my blog). But, since you asked, it is a blended wool rolog that I recently purchased from a designer in Wales to spin. Beautiful work and spinning it is so much fun. I will chain ply it today and see what it looks like.🧶

Hmmmm, I wonder if you stumbled upon the former bassist for the Smashing Pumpkins D’arcy Wretzky – she liked her horns as much as Angus Young does.
