Ready for planting or just dreaming about it?

I just picked up some packets of seeds for my 4-year-old grandson, including carrots. He told me earlier this winter that he wanted to plant carrots. I hope they will grow OK in a pot. I also bought spinach, zinnia, bachelor button and cosmos seeds. I gave him flower seeds last spring and Isaac had so much fun planting them with his mom and then watching the plants emerge and eventually bloom. It will be a few months before he can plant these. Happy planting, my friend.

Thanks Audrey. I am sure Isaac will love to grow all those wonderful things. What a wonderful way to get young people interested in nature and gardening.

Thanks Kathleen.😊 Each time I look at all those seeds I see work and the weather is still flakey. Been incredibly ready for real Spring.

Hmmm, was hoping you would plant the “other” orange vegetable…oops, had to check, apparently pumpkins are fruit, my bad.

I will plant that fruit later this Spring for sure! Can you grab a couple of “Libby’s” seeds and send to MN? 😂🤣 I am sure I can become even more of a strange American gardener if I plant the entire plot in pumpkins.😂🤣😂 Thanks for stopping.
