Cold, gloomy and a chance this weekend of snow makes for a ho hum sort of walk, until you see these.


Now, inspired, I looked for other signs of brightness in the gardens I passed.

The shrubs in this moderate climate provide colorful eye catching berries.

I always love to see them too. I use you have them planted along my fence line in Minnesota and they were the first to bloom each Spring. Even better the deer didn’t eat them.

Beautiful daffodils! Most of mine are still hiding under the soil.

Thanks. These are raised in a greenhouse, so they have had an artificial start of those in the ground.
