It is the second week of January and already we are showing off signs of an early Spring. It started when we noticed that we were sneezing all the time. The tree pollen is already trying to get a head start on the season.
Then the daffodils started popping out of the ground! Today they are blooming!

Hello- 2020 Sunshine!
This is for all of my bloggers who are winter locked in the ice and snow. Spring will be here before you know it.

Hope all of you enjoy the other Spring like pictures from my walk today.

Wow, can’t believe the daffodils started popping out of the ground, is’t that a little bit to early! That’s what happened in Ireland a few years ago and then we had a heavy snow storm in March that eventually destroyed all the pretty flowers. Thanks for sharing and have a good day. Aiva

It is hard to believe that the flowers are blooming at the beginning of January. Let’s hope and pray you won’t get a cold snap that would destroy all these wonders of spring in the Netherland. Best wishes! Peter

You never can be sure what Mother Nature will do. If it freezes those daffodils will be gone.

A breath of spring is just what I needed today!

I knew everyone in MN needed it after I watched the weather report. I even changed my gloves out of my suitcase for heavier ones.🥶

Not much of a winter in The Netherlands, but I’m not storing away my mitens yet. February is still to come, those daffodils might have a second bloom.

Yeah, my mittens are not boxed yet either as I have been informed that in the past there has been freezing temperatures in February.

Dang, I’d love to see some flowers blooming here! But we have about two months to go before we’ll see that. Meanwhile, I’ll try hard to enjoy the beauty of snow….as well as appreciate the chance to slip away to Florida for a little while!

I know what you mean. FL sounds nice with a bit of warm sun, enjoy it.😊

Ironically reading your post while staring at the sleet, snow and ice that are building up outside our Pleasure-Way. Not looking forward to the drive further north to home tomorrow, but at least you sent some thoughts of Spring our way to keep our minds off the fact we have a ways to go before our flowers start blooming.

Yeah, you can imagine my enthusiasm with traveling from here to the frigid ice box of Minnesota this week. Careful on the roads as Linda needs you home safe so you can complete the honey do list.

So beautiful! I can’t wait for the Welsh daffodils to pop up and bloom here. It’s currently wet, windy and looking miserable here!

Receiving this post was like finding the Gurney’s seed catalog in the mailbox at the start of January…a bright promise of things to come during the subzero reality of a northern Minnesota January. Bitter + sweet! I’ll be okay as long as I don’t take a warm weather vacation…photos are one thing; experiencing spring in February or March and then returning to deep winter is another. Better to keep my seasons separated! This said, I loved your photographs! Thank you so much for sharing!

LOL! I know exactly how you feel. I was in MSP last week and drove North in snow but made it out before the huge storm. Came to GA to 72F! Awesome but can’t see myself flying back to bitter cold so booked direct from here back to Amsterdam. Once you start to experience Spring it is a real let down to have winter again. Packing for this trip was a nightmare! Had to fit 4 seasons into one carryon!!!😬
