This was a dry summer and our adventures are now well documented. The RV trailer is now safely back in storage. The canoe and kayaks are waiting for the next nice day to come out of the back garden and head out on an adventure. These will be few and far between from now until April as the weather here in the Netherlands turns colder, windy, and rainy for the winter.
We did have a few nature photos that we failed to place in our blog earlier that now can fill the gaps of our canoe adventures. I will keep these to five pictures with brief descriptions and locations here in the Netherlands. We hope you enjoy them as we add them into our winter blog line up.

Thanks for the bird shots (oh, and I like the other ones too, just a bit partial to my feathered friends). Have not come upon a Black Swan yet (even in zoos) so jealous of that one. The last shot looks lit is full of Greater White-fronted Geese – may be a derivation in your parts, but looks similar to ours based on the various features. As an fyi, one of my other blogger friends I follow (another Brian) has a fantastic butterfly/dragonfly photography site – https://blhphotoblog.wordpress.com/blog/. Thought of him while checking out your shots.

Thanks- I was also surprised to see the black swan. I have only seen them at zoos so this one being in the wild was a great experience.
