We are now at the end of our vacation and sadly at the end of the Dutch Open Canoe Festival 2018.
We made new friends, saw old friends, learned new things and learned a bit about how “Cedar” was built. Plus we paddled a good about of kilometers for us.
Here are three pictures of today more to follow with our follow up blog on the event.

Always seems like vacations are too short when you are at the end – thankfully you can always look back at your posts and remember all the great things seen and done. Thanks for sharing.

You are right. They always seem short but at least we get longer vacations here in Europe. Makes the time seem really like vacation instead of a rushed trip. I like this blog format as I use to just post pictures on FB without much narrative. Friends would ask about the pictures and I would have to go back and try to think about where I took it and the story behind it. Now it is all laid out. Although I have more followers that are not related to me than friends and family.

Right with you – I am NOT a fan of FB for a number or reasons, but one is definitely wanting to be in control of the post experience.
