Great capture of a landscape never imagined to be in the Netherlands!

This place is wonderful. Can’t wait to write a longer blog about it.

It is. Although you get airplane noise everywhere anymore.

Always surprised at how calm the waters are in your pictures – like glass. Thanks for sharing.

Well, it has been a very unusual summer. The other reason is we don’t like working so hard managing a camera and paddle when it is windy. We have to remain a bit more focused in the wind.

So, what do you do when you encounter a fence like that? Is it a “don’t go past here” sign? Can you go under? (Assuming you want to!), Yes, longer post, please…

I have spotty internet now and will write a longer post. Thanks for the question, that is a do not cross fence for all boats. They sometimes open those areas to canoe and kayak only but at certain times of the year they close them off to all boat traffic.
