The stretch of the Alblas River, in each direction from our Oud Alblas camping, has been my paddle haven this summer. I first thought that after a few times of paddling the same area I would be bored. I would lose interest. But, I found that I always find something new that captures my attention and imagination as I paddle.
The dapple early morning light hits the brightly painted colors of the boats parked along the river. Each color and boat pop into focus against the green backdrops of the Dutch countryside and bright blue sky.
Natural manmade art for the passing paddler to enjoy.

It can’t get any better than this and your images of the boats in the early morning light are superb.

The morning I paddled past the couple who were in the boat were having breakfast. It looked so warm and inviting.
