I have several blog followers who are birders. I am a secondary birder. I love looking at birds when I am kayaking or canoeing and observing their behavior. Although not my primary passion I always love learning more.
This week was the start of the Spring bird nesting webcams here in the Netherlands. It is a wonderful site to check out the activity of this annual event. The site also has a great collection of film clips from prior nesting years. I loved watching the young owls from 2017 as they came out of the nest for the first time to explore the world.
The Netherlands bird nesting webcams.
This site is all in Dutch but it is easy to use by just clicking on the picture of the bird you would like to view, one more click to activate the webcam.
Hope you enjoy.
Thanks for sharing – plus I get some familiarization with Dutch (well, spellings) – I know the birds in the pictures at the top of the page and can now see the Dutch word equivalent.

I thought you would like it. I also found a bird identification pdf on the site that had ducks and other birds.
